My next Aby

My Cara Belleza (Bessie) adopted a son. He was named Nekayah's Eros Elysium (Ross). He was born on the 22nd of January 1996 and became a member of our family in the beginning of July that year. We had not planned it this way. My, at that time, nine years old female Bessie had been the only owner of me and had adjusted to a solitaire life with me. This was brutally interrupted the day I came home carrying him in his cage. I could see in her face what she was thinking: "What is this that you have dragged in to our home? Get it out of here at once! I'll help you."

This day the Cat War broke out. After one week they tolerated each other and after two weeks they slept together in my bed so it's at bit crowded there. From now on she treated him like her own child and really took good care of him when playing outside. She never left him alone and seemed to like him very much but was very determined when telling this little boy who was in command. She needed this and seemed to be almost five years younger now.

His nickname is Ross (Thanks, Julie!) and has a stable temperament and is afraid of nothing. When I use my vacuum cleaner his plays with the nozzle and I have to push him away with it. He has now decided to stay with us and either of us oppose this.

Today, in July 2007, he is eleven years old, a very beautiful Aby boy and is no more interested in girls because the Vet has fixed him.

Ross' mother, EC S*Nekayahs Mammite Maryam, Yam-Yam, born on April, 4th 1994.   From now on (October, 9th 1999) she may call herself a European Champion. Congratulations!
